Pray Through Persecution

You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, (‭‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5‬‬:‭43‬-‭44‬ ‭NIV‬‬)

As you read this verse think of your Lord and savior Jesus Christ. The persecution he faced was all in Gods plan to redeem humanity. This means that the persecution you face is also apart of His redemptive plan. Choose to let go of the anger and forgive so that Gods will may prevail. Forgiveness is a song of praise and prayer for those who persecute you is the love offering that your Holy Father deserves. He gave up His only Son for you , it is only right that you give up yourself in the same manner.
